Theater in Detroit: Love, Loss and What I Wore Starting February 8, 2012

Love, Loss and What I Wore, an intimate collection of stories by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron is based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman, as well as the recollections of the Ephrons’ friends.  The production opened in October 2009 at New York’s Westside Theater and is now showing at the Gem Theater, in Detroit, February 8th through March 4th, 2012. 

Love, Loss and What I Wore, uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to.  Directed by Karen Carpenter, the production is performed by a rotating cast of five all star actors.  The Detroit cast includes Emily Dorsch, Daisy Eagan, Sonia Manzano, Loretta Swit and Myra Lucretia Taylor.
